OUR STORY

BROQ International was founded by a crew of passionate surfers from Florida. Since catching our first waves in the late eighties, we’ve been chasing that same thrill ever since. Growing up on the Gulf of Mexico, we faced fickle beach breaks and had only about a hundred rideable days a year. Despite these challenges, we made the most of every wave, adopting a “Go for BROQ” mentality.

Our surf trips were humble, often involving early morning drives to Florida’s east coast for modest waves. Over the years, we’ve gone to great lengths to surf in Florida’s unpredictable conditions. Though we’ve grown up, pursued careers, and started families, surfing remains a constant in our lives. We’ll never stop. Go for BROQ.
